Skip grew up on the waters of Baltimore County
-- from fishing, crabbing, swimming and skiing with his buddies
as a little boy -- to doing the same things with some of those
same buddies as an adult.
Skip knows the ins and outs of waterfront
property from personal experience. With this knowledge, he expertly
guides his clients through their search for their perfect stretch
of waterfront.
Skip believes in "different strokes
for different folks", some people need deep water, other
just want a great sunset. A buyer should be concerned if their
agent doesn't know important details pertinent to owning waterfront
property -- things like where the sun sets, or how deep the
water is at the end of the pier, or where the nearest boat ramp
is located.
Skip is the only realter in Baltimore County
who uses his boat, the No Worries, to take his clients
out to view waterfront properties from the water - the only
way to see your potential new waterfront home!
As a boy growing up in Baltimore Skip was
taught to work hard, to be friendly, honest, happy and unique.
He has embraced these same value throughout his life, and brings
them to every business endeavor.
When he was 13 he mowed 13 lawns a week,
earning enough to buy his first "real" boat. Along
the way, Skip worked with the railroad, a local supermarket
chain, and eventually UPS among many other odd jobs. Finally,
he realized that he was supposed to be working for himself -
not someone else.
He began his path as an enterpreneur in 1988
when he and some partners bought three video stores. He quit
UPS and never looked back! In time, the enterprise grew to include
four video stores, six shaved ice locations, a pool hall, and
an aerobics studio built for Skip's wife Janine. He still owns
Icy Delights Ice Cream and Shaved Ice store.
Skip's friend Dale Hunter encouraged him
to get his real estate license, and the two partnered to buy
RE/MAX by the bay. When Dale's uncle and cousin bought Skip's
share, he went back to being "just a real estate agent",
working for himself and spending time with his beautiful wife
Janine, his two fantastic children, and their yellow lab, Molly.
Life is good...and Skip has "NO WORRIES!"
